Peter Amidon is the Founder and President of Amidon Solutions. Started in 2001 and incorporated in 2004, Amidon Solutions has proudly partnered with over 50 companies and organizations to deliver quality web products and services. Simply put, Peter enjoys implementing technology solutions to solve business challenges. Highly responsive and keen to customer needs, Peter is committed to the success of his clients. He focuses his work on small to mid-size companies and non-profits who need to kick start their Web presence or perhaps redesign their Web presence to better meet their goals. In addition to Web sites, Peter is also focused on modernizing office processes and procedures to embrace web technologies and move away from Microsoft Office tools such as Excel/Access or old legacy systems.

Peter first started building Web sites at Greensboro Day School in 1997 where he worked as the school’s first Webmaster. He later moved on to the Center for Creative Leadership where he worked in the Global Communications Group. He and his team managed all Web site properties at CCL including the main site, a personalized member site called myCCL as well as other microsites. After getting his Masters in Information Systems and Operations Management from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro, he left CCL in 2008 to be the Director of Knowledge Management at Charles Aris, a boutique executive search firm in downtown Greensboro. He was in charge of all IT and research functions at Charles Aris and introduced several Web-based solutions to aid in the acquisition and retention of clients. He left Charles Aris in the winter of 2012 to pursue Amidon Solutions full-time. In 2013, he returned to CCL as their Director of Digital Engagement.
